This Privacy Policy explains how World Health Ventures LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("World Health Ventures," "Neovia," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses and shares personal data through this website, any translated versions of this website, and related forms, emails and text messages (the "Site"). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions, including their Delaware arbitration provisions.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request any resources, contact us or sign up through any option presented on the Site, we collect what you provide, such as your name, organisation, role, email address, mobile phone number, country, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers receive technical data when you visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps. The Site does not set tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
Information from others. We may receive information about you from partners, referrers, event organisers or public sources, for example if a partner introduces you to us.
We do not ask for health or medical information through the Site. Please do not send it.
How we use information
We use personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and share programme briefs and materials;
- assess and manage potential advisory, development, investment and partnership relationships;
- send marketing emails, SMS messages and other communications (Sections 3 and 4);
- operate, secure and improve the Site and prevent fraud or misuse;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms; and
- for any other purpose we describe when we collect it, or with your consent.
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on your consent (for marketing), on steps you request before entering a contract, on our legitimate interests in running and growing our business, and on legal obligations.
Marketing emails and communications
By signing up through the Site (including submitting a form or requesting the brief), you agree to receive marketing emails and other communications from World Health Ventures, including news, updates, event invitations, offers, and information about our services, plans, and our partners' related offerings.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us (Section 10). We will process your request promptly and within any period required by law. We may still send non-marketing messages, such as replies to your enquiries or notices about these policies.
SMS / text message marketing
By signing up and providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages (SMS/MMS) from World Health Ventures at that number. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
- Opt out: you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one message confirming the opt-out and no further marketing texts.
- Help: reply HELP for help, or email us (Section 10).
- Frequency: message frequency varies.
- Costs: message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number: you confirm you are the account holder or authorised user of the number you provide. Tell us promptly if you change or give up that number.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for text messaging are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Section 5 does not apply to that data, except for service providers that help us send messages.
Retention and security
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to maintain our relationship with you, comply with law, resolve disputes and enforce agreements, and then delete or anonymise it. We keep a record of opt-outs so we can honour them. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link) and texts (reply STOP) at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data or of targeted advertising. To make a request, email us (Section 10). We may need to verify your identity, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our partners and service providers may be located in other countries, including the countries where our districts are planned. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version with a new effective date. Where changes are material and the law requires, we will give additional notice or ask for consent.
